Embark on a transformative journey with our comprehensive Board-and-Train program, where your canine companion undergoes a 3, 4, or 5-week immersive training experience. Designed to elevate your dog’s skills, behavior, and overall demeanor, each day is filled with diverse activities, from morning pack walks in Conservation Park to afternoon adventures at the dog beach and Pier Park. Our holistic approach incorporates pack play, promoting socialization and balanced behavior.
For a personalized and transformative training experience, our Private Lessons are tailored to the individual needs of dog owners dealing with specific behavioral challenges or seeking a unique and focused approach. Acting as coaches, our trainers guide owners through the process of effecting positive change, uncovering each dog’s unique learning style. Logan is a certified dog trainer with a strong passion for helping problematic dogs and their families. He understands the importance of strong relationships between humans and their canine companions, and is dedicated to helping others create peaceful and enjoyable environments for both themselves and their pets.
Logan began his journey as a dog trainer by completing the Animal Behavior College Dog Training certification program. He then went on to further his education through the Will Atherton Academy, where he took their Advanced Canine Training and Behavior course as well as their Prong Collar Masterclass and Remote Collar Masterclass.
As a husband and father, Logan knows firsthand the joys and challenges of living with high energy dogs. His own personal pack consists of three huskies and a bloodhound, and he loves the never-ending excitement that comes with their energetic personalities.
One of Logan’s main goals as a trainer is to help those that are in desperate need of a transforming journey to better the quality of their life. He believes that every dog has the potential to learn and thrive, and is dedicated to helping his clients and their pets find success.

I teetered back and forth if I wanted to seek out additional guidance for my 18 month old Doodle, Maggie. I was dealing with some leash reactivity, jumping upon greeting (she was REALLY happy to see you) and a few other things. I was skeptical after I declined the last trainers recommendation of a “bonker” to bonk my overexcited Doodle on the head when she jumps, which seemed cruel to me. Logan came highly recommended so I decided to set up a consultation for us and try. At our first meeting I could immediately tell Logan’s gentle personality was a great balance for Maggie’s exuberant energy. Logan was EXACTLY what she needed. He not only trained her, but me as well. Now when I walk Maggie I no longer have anxiety, because her leash reactivity is gone. Plus if you approach us on a walk, you won’t be knocked over by her greetings anymore, she sits politely! We couldn’t have done this without Logan. He trains the extreme cases, and cases like Maggie who just need some redirection. Your dog is a 15-20 yr commitment, don’t make excuses for the embarrassing behavior any longer, correct it, call him.
Logan is without a doubt the best trainer I’ve ever met. Lots of people can train, but Logans calm and steadfast character make him a cut above the rest. We have a rescued Cane Corso, strong willed and fearsome, born and bred to guard with her life. Logan didn’t just train our dog, he trained my wife and I to handle such a strong dog, and we appreciate him more than I can tell. If you want your pup to be happy and healthy, you have to use Logan. There’s simply no other option!
I could not recommend Logan more! He is amazingly talented with not only knowing how to train dogs but how to help you train your dog. The very first visit, Roxie barked the entire time! Logan told me then that if I worked with him and did my homework I would have a dog I could take anywhere and I would know how she would react. He was absolutely right. I take Roxie with me everywhere and we even visit schools as a therapy dog. Logan is the real deal and you won’t be disappointed if you choose to work with him and do your homework!
Logan has been an absolute Godsend! In our 60’s we decided to get Major. Our fifth Labrador Retriever in 40+ years. He is the most beautiful, affectionate and exuberant dog imaginable. But he has a lot of energy. Logan has helped us understand, appreciate, have fun with and love our new pup. With Logan’s amazing help, at a year old, Major is now probably more responsive, compliant and obedient than our 10 year old Lab, Scout. Importantly, he is also safe to have around our four young grandsons. Major has become a great companion who knows the rules, understands our expectations and is an absolute joy to have around.

Newton Pack Dog Training is one on one private lessons as well as Board and Train options that gives personalized attention to clients and their dogs. During these sessions, you will work with a professional trainer on a one-to-one basis to learn how to train your dog effectively. The trainer will act as a coach, teaching you how to train your dog and helping you to understand your dog’s behavior and how to modify it to fit your lifestyle.

We offer training at a variety of locations, including our climate controlled indoor facility, pet-friendly public places, and safe off-leash environments in nature. Our training plans are tailored to each individual dog and owner, based on their goals for their dog. We believe that nature provides the best classroom for training, as it offers a natural and stimulating environment for dogs to learn and grow.
